In March 2007, a technical trial of Qualcomm's air-interface MediaFLO technology is expected to debut in Taipei, according to Qualcomm. This company has signed an agreement with Taiwanese CNS (China Network Systems), and TTV (Taiwan Television Enterprise) to conduct an evaluation trial in Taipei of Qualcomm's MediaFLO system, a mobile broadcasting technology enabling the delivery of data and multimedia services to mobile devices. The trial is projected to feature four channels of CNS content and three channels of TTV content, all broadcast live.
